B.Sc. Chemistry Program
B.Sc. Chemistry is a 3-year undergraduate course that deals with the study of matter, like inorganic and organic chemistry, properties, composition, and structure of substances. The B.Sc Chemistry eligibility criteria require a minimum of 10+2 in science, which must have a science background with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology as their core subjects from any recognized board. B.Sc. Chemistry focuses on the study of various branches of chemistry such as Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry along with elective subjects like Environment Science, Disaster management, Chemistry of Dyes & Pigments, Polymer Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry.
Scopes after completion of B.Sc. Chemistry
A graduate degree in Chemistry can open up job opportunities of candidates in various unique profiles such as Chemist in various industries like Pharmaceutical industry, Chemical Industry, Environmental Industry, Food industry, Dye industry etc. , P
Higher Education: Candidates after completion of the course have several options in terms of higher education and career opportunities. One can go for Masters program ( M.Sc. ) in related fields like in Biochemistry, Chemistry (Organic, Analytical, Physical, Inorganic), Biotechnology and so on. One can also move to other fields of Technologies like for M.Tech in Chemical Engineering and others. Candidates after B.Sc. can also opt B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) course.
